Terms and Conditions

General terms

  1. Making a reservation via our website or payment of the booking deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. Quotations and bookings are subject to availability and not guaranteed until receipt of a deposit confirmed in writing.
  3. Adults only.
  4. Children can not be accommodated.
  5. All prices are including VAT, & local taxes.
  6. No smoking on the premises.    
  7. Pets are not allowed.
  8. No elevator available.


The apartment provider reserves the right to cancel or alter the booking if:

  1. The guest(s) are not able to pay the online payment and/or remaining balance upon arrival.
  2. The guest(s) are not able to show their passport, id card or drivers license upon arrival.
  3. The guest(s) are not able to provide a security deposit in form of a valid credit card.
  4. The apartment(s) or part of it is closed due to circumstances beyond its control.
  5. It prejudices the reputation or causes or might cause in the apartment providers opinion, damage to the apartments and its common areas.
  6. The apartment provider becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership.

The apartment provider will not be liable for any delay, loss, damage or expenses incurred if your booking needs to be altered or cancelled or the apartment provider is unable to perform the contractual obligations as a result of events beyond his reasonable control, which shall include but not be limited to events such as war, civil strife, terrorist activity, labor disputes, natural or man-made disaster, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions or change of local government laws. In any of these circumstances the apartment provider will refund any payments made in advance, but will have no further liability to the Client. 
If the apartment provider receives serious complaints or any disputes arise, he reserves the right to terminate your stay without notice and refunding payments.

Limitation of liability.
The apartment provider shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage that may arise as a consequence of the client's use of the apartment, including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fire, robbery or criminal behaviour.

Occupants.
Only persons notified to the apartment provider upon arrival may occupy the apartment. You may not re-let/sub let the apartment to any other third party without our prior written approval. The number of persons permitted to occupy the apartment is limited to the number of beds available and this limit may not be exceeded without our prior written approval. The apartment provider reserves the right to refuse admittance to the apartment if this condition is not complied with.

Fair Use.
You and your party agree to be considerate tenants and to take good care of the apartment(s) and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your stay. Except in the case of normal wear and tear you are responsible for any damage to the apartment or its contents during your stay, which has occurred due to the negligence, wilful default or irresponsible behaviour on the part of yourself or those occupying the apartment or their guests. Any damage must be reported to the apartment provider, without delay. You and your party also agree not to act in any way that could cause disturbance to the residents in neighbouring properties.

Alcohol, Drugs, Tobacco.
The use of drugs and abuse of alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises. The use and possession of hard drugs is illegal in the Netherlands and any one suspected of either will be reported to the Police. Smoking including marihuana inside the apartment and premises is not allowed. When guests smoke in the room or public spaces, marchSpace needs to charge an amount of €450,-- This amount will be used to clean the room, in order to prevent future guests experiencing inconvenience of the smell.

Payment
In case of a balance due (incl. taxes & fees) this must be paid upon arrival by cash, pin, maestro or credit card. (VISA, MasterCard, Diners and American Express). Paying the residual amount with a credit card will attract an additional 3% credit card fee. All prices quoted are in Euro's and all payments need to be made in Euro's.

Security Deposit.
If a longer period is booked we reserve the right to ask for a security deposit. In that case the security deposit is required upon check-in with a valid credit card. This deposit is authorized and is put on hold on your credit card. Your card will not be charged. This reservation will be automatically released by your bank on the conditions that you have left the apartment in a good condition and no disturbance has occurred.

Loss of keys or remotes will be charged to the client . There will be a minimum cost €75,-- per item.

Check-in time. 
A personal check-in at the apartment is possible from 15:00h till 18:00h.
Early check-in. 
This service depends on availability and is not always possible. To request this service please contact the office one day prior to your arrival.
Late check-in. 
When your arrival is after 18:00h, we will schedule a time to meet to hand over the keys and give you a small tour. 
This service can only be requested by phone or e-mail one day prior to your arrival.
Please note: Keys will only be handed out when both the final payment and an optional security deposit are successfully done .

Check-out
Check-out time is 12:00h.  Keys can be left in the office. If availability allows,  a late check-out till 18:00 can be requested. This service depends on availability and is not always possible. To request this service please contact the office one day prior to your departure. There is a €30,-- fee for this service.
